$2000.00 price tag is high. For what its worth of metal including the stainless spherical rod ends. Figuring 6hrs labor in building them $6-800. Now that theyve done all the R&D, All that needs to be done is is replication of geometry. I figure a kit with the same specs for $1000- 1200 is more affordable. Maybe I need to orchestrate the production of these.

And 65 degrees of flawless smooth max grip steering is the end result. If you want it blue, and have a fancy WF stamp, pay it. If the same results can be had for less. Why waste money? ID RATHER HAVE MORE TIRES TO BURN!!!!

you really don't need them to drift. just go out and get seat time.

R&D is what sets the price tag and they manufacture everything they can in house to keep quality where it's at. There are replica kits around but they break.

Function is my point. For those of us who care about function>form.
Keep digging, your almost 6ft under just a little more, would you mind back filling once you are all the way in? If you think Varrstoen, Brota, etc. are function over form you are mistaken.

This. When was the last time you saw the actual parts cost for a real race car? Let me guess, never. You are paying for their R&D, their testing and development, the programs they use to calculate stress points and to generate a working suspension model. It is a critical suspension part here, if you really want to run cheap shit on a car you probably daily think about not only yourself but the peoples life around you that you jeopardize due to cheap parts. Don't drive near me please.

angle kits are necessary. For many reasons. 5,000 hours of seat time in a bone stock 240 will never teach you what 2 hours in a built car can. Scrubbing and spinning or low angle drifting is whack either way, and thats all that is possible on stock geometry.
You are an idiot. I've seen gangster ass backwards 4th gear entries on stock knuckles. Tire choice and alignment plays a big part too. Not to mention skill, but I wouldn't expect you to know anything about that...

Each lb of rotating mass equates to roughly 20lbs of dead weight.............Again, you are PAYING for development, tooling, etc, NOT JUST MATERIALS AND LABOR!

Lol when did I say anything about "pro level"? I'm talking street car son. And a reverse entry on stock knuckles is all about NOT having grip on the front end so that it goes into a 4 wheel slide after you pass 90 while retaining rear traction so the front end comes back around.

You do realize that Wisefab has a 3D model generator they use to make accurate parts and an actual engineer that designs their kits right? Tools, R&D, and education cost money, a lot of money, and they deserve the money in return for their effort in developing a kit.
Saying "I'd rather have more tires" is a cheap cop-out excuse for ripping off someone's hard work and selling it at half of the price because you didn't have any development costs.
Now if you wanted to develop your own kit from scratch, more power to you, but if you want to knock off legit manufacturer's parts, please go buy a Camaro and leave the S-chassis alone.
Riiiiiight........ Cuz thats what driftings all about. Uncontollably throwing Your Daily Driver Stock 240 into a reverse entry drift @ 90mph + & hoping your front end gets traction after your rear does...
Sounds Genius.... All Hail The Omniscient DRIFTGOD "TheRealSy90" for his knowledge is the Gospel.

There are other kits with the same/similar geometry, but they also cost a lot of money. If you want zero ackerman for cheap, here you go:

Plain and simple Just wanted to know if anyone had duplicated geometry for a more affordable price. I never said I didnt understand why they charge so much. I watched every video they have produced and read their entire webpage. I understand they have to pay for the Digital 3D mapping machine they use thats within .5mm accurate. I understand that they have an engineer in house paying him a hefty salary for his degree and services. Im not even saying that theyre kit is not worth every penny they want for it. I was only asking about more affordable options. Drifting is pricey as it is.
Anyways Im gonna try out a Keisler Kit. Looks nice. $650. All CNC billet 7075 Aircraft aluminum. Thats Cheaper than my cut spindle/ext lca + mismatch tie rods setup i have now.

Wow man. Thats pretty far. But if everyones goal on zilvia is purely to race a 100% Baller part Show Car then I understand all of your opinions. I dont see a point in involving a car, that you have poured $40,000 into, in a motorsport that could destroy it. I love Legit Baller Parts as much as anyone. Just dont ever plan on destoying my money that way. Most of the Uber expensive stuff is so nice it should be detailed and garaged with a cover inside of a climate contolled garage. For someone who assumes and figures so much, what sort of fab work have you done or work have you ever done on your car?
You find any shop that is gonna make you a one off for 1000 bucks and I'll send ALL of my CNC and fab work there. Heck I know from my end of things that it would easily take 2 days for setup and measure, let alone cutting, welding, cleaning, powdercoating, etc etc. And that's assuming you have the time for it all. Unsure where you're from, but we're 85-100 an hour depending on the type of work, and I can assure you that 2000 is a steal for something like that, one off.

Vegas Drifter, I definitely understand what you are talking about what you want. These other guys are really upset about economic principles.
-Will someone eventually knock off Garrett Turbos and sell them on Ebay? Already happened
-Will someone eventually knock off PBM suspension parts and sell them under the B-rated companies such as ISIS, Godspeed, Megan? Of course.
-Will someone make a mold of the hottest wheels out there just to make a replica in far inferior metal? Of course.
-Will someone eventually knock off Wise-FAB kits? ______________
I get what everyone is saying here, spend money towards the right guys because Wise-FAB is legitimately looking to help our community. (I personally %100 love their work) However, knock offs are already in the works. A few dudes with CNC machines posted all over the country are working on their own sets. I see these posts randomly on my FB feed, but I don't have enough time to search for more information.
Keisler Automation offers a full CNC'd kit for Miatas right now, and currently working up a S-chassis setup. All the butthurt dudes on here are mad about nothing. This is how our market works, someone takes an established great idea and changes it just enough to make it their own. Concentrate on the rest of the car, then worry about your angle kid. I'd say start with those shat coilovers.
Yes not great coils but They work fine and are way better than godspeeds or ebays. Traded my Daily Ka Sil80 for this car as it sits. I havent done anything to this car other than drive it at an event and clean it up.
Im starting with Angle Kit and Stance coils. I have sold the cage and am stitch welding the whole chassis prepping it for an FD legal cage that might actually work. The car itself runs great.

Agreed, and get a proper roll cage. Your dash is already fucked why not cut some more holes in it in the name of safety.
I have already sold the cage. Currently stitch welding and prepping the car for an FD legal cage so I can compete ProAm this season.

BUT SAFETY is IN the name!!!!
Lol. Cage is gone. It did make the car rigid but not Safe in any serious crash at all. The door bars were welded in. But still had to go.

Clearly not the same. But still have similar geometry and work theoretically in the same way. $2000 vs $650.... Thats all....

pretty much this.
both of them have the same function.
one may be 30* taller than the other, but the functionality of the parts are *theoretically* the same.
the cheaper item is still made of some decent material.

I thought CNC'd 7075 Aircraft Aluminum was pretty decent as well. Im gonna give them a try unless I find a better option for relative pricing like $1000 or less

So you expect a cheapy knock of kit, yet have overpriced generic stuff on your car?
Concentrate on the rest of the car, then worry about your angle kid. I'd say start with those shat coilovers.

They are fine in my opinion and are $1400. The damper adjustments are great, I dial up to 3 from the top for the track and then back down to 4 from the bottom to drive around in between track days. I just prefer Stance Over Everything, I have 4 kids local that wanna buy my coils when I get my stances. Not worried about it. Lol
