You must have shortened them. Curious to see how you mounted them. I had this same setup couple years back.

all I really did was mount and cut off the extra from the back, about 2 inches.

I took them off already but I'll take some pictures and upload, I used double sided 3m tape and 2 small self taping screws from under the car.
