How many people here are running hub centric wheels?
For those that aren't have you had any problems and if so, what kinds of problems have you had?

I'm not running hub centric wheels. It's not a big deal as long mount them properly. Worked on my car Saturday and now the car shakes like crazy. :ugh: I broke my lug key that day too so I gotta wait to fix it until I find/buy another one. arg....
Where do you get hubcentric rings?? Custom maching shop type thing? This would just be some sort of spacer with the outer diameter being the size of the wheels center bore and the inside diameter being the size of the car's center bore, correct? I'm little fuzzy on the hub centric thing.....

yep, just be sure to seat the wheel properly and torque it down.

Hub centric wheels or spacers? I've been pushing some 1" bolt on spacers pretty damn hard and they are still keeping the wheels on the car. Don't start thinking..."man he probably hasn't been driving hard like I would."

my rims are lug-centric. so long as you tighten the lugs in a star pattern to ensur the wheel is properly centered it's no biggy.

hub centric is the BEST way, it's plenty safe to run around with lugcentric rims so long as you take your time when mounting them.
so long as you tighten them gradually in a criss cross or star pattern they should be fine. that's how my rims are...

what is hubcentric?
it means the center bore of the rim would fit perfectly on the hub of the car. if its not hubcentric, its lug centric, which means the rim is centered by the lugs.
hubcentric: wheel centered by the hub.
lugcentric: wheel centered by lugs.
