Right off the bat, no he doesn't want your 240 plus 1k cash... he's looking for cash.
Up for sale is my 1966 Mercedes 250s on Accuair elevel. It's time to let her go. The car is well kept and in great condition. It is all original cream colored paint and black interior. Clean title. The paint is in good shape and still has its great shine. It is not perfect, being almost 48 years old, but it is in amazing condition. The interior is also in great shape. It is black with refinished wood trim throughout. The car has factory power steering, power windows, 4 wheel power disk brakes, and air conditioning (has already been converted to the modern r134). It is a 4 speed automatic and very easy to drive.
On to the work that has been done,
I have replaced the motor mounts, transmission mount, engine shock, and front subframe mounts. It has a new battery, and has been converted to a brand new GM 1 wire alternator for a higher amperage output. I have also converted it to a pertronix electronic ignition instead of the original points ignition, so there is no need to ever mess with adjusting points ever again. It has a new distributor cap, rotor, plug wires, and plugs, as well as a new coil. It also has new shocks on all corners, and brand new full exhaust. It has had regular oil changes and has just had the transmission serviced. It runs and drives great.
For the suspension, the car is on air ride. It is on the best of the best, running slam specialties bags on all corners, with new shocks. It rides great. For air management it is equipped with Accuair elevel. This allows the press of a button on the controller to make the car automatically lift off of the ground and adjust to the preset desired ride height. You can also lift and lower the car from your iphone using the ilevel module that is installed as well. To sustain air pressure it has twin viair 380 compressors into a 5 gallon spun aluminum tank.
This is an amazing car, and is the best example of an original w108 I've ever seen. You really must see it to appreciate it fully.
I am asking $12,700 OBO. I am not open to trades. If you are interested, give me a call at (916) 8four7-1346
