I have a stock 83 280zx that I wanna lower and add rims to.
I haven't decided wether I will be getting 17s or 18s and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on size . I know I will need to modify suspension but I'm not sure what brands would be best when it comes to suspension parts. I've seen eibach springs for a fair price but they will only lower the car 1 inch . Should I just but coilovers? Or maybe get eibach shocks as well? What size tires? Will I need a camber kit? Any help is appreciated.

Modify it for S13 coilovers and don't get anything bigger than maybe 16s.

What's the advantage of s14 coils?

Please no 17s on a Datsun. 16s, proper tires and suspension; you'll be happy.

I was planing on some tokico coils for 550? Or do you know any better suspension? Eibach shocks and springs?

Because 280ZX coilovers are insanely rare and expensive (if they even exist). You can't go low with shocks and springs. Shocks and coil sleeves, maybe. S13 coilovers are a lot cheaper and a lot more common, so Z guys usually use those.
