Miami drift show off

I was there yesterday and saw drifting for the first time by some pros... Its really cool to watch and makes me want to get my s13 even sooner. I should have my GTI sold this upcoming week and getting the 240 hopefully sometime by the end of summer. Main drifters there were nissans, a rwd integra, an mr2 which i now refer to as oversteer king because its so damn hard to drift, and a couple of ae 86s. Nissans did best over all.

HEY!! I already made a thread for it in the events section, but whatever, its cool. Yeah, i went and that was pretty good, but the only bad thing, is im thinkin ooh, falken, i can get to see koguchi, right?? NO, koguchi was too busy in Japan, we get yamamoto. Now not dissing yamamoto, or calvin or vaughn, they were all great, but i would have liked to see koguchi. But some of the more local guys were doing great, that white s13, i think the guy's name is Ben, he was kickin ass out there, and the yellow zenki was goin crazy too, and of course mattback in the very hot enjuku car. I didn't stay to the end on saturday, do you know who actually won the competition? I really need to practice more, watchin those guys who wer good just makes me want to do it, but i cant, not like them at least. And im standin there in the crowd (sparse as it was), and i see some kid standing there, and i look again, its like wait a second, was that ken gushi? It looked just like him, but then he was gone, i think he was there. Also wasn't cool that keichi and nomuken were totally fenced off in there little tent the whole time. But overall, my first big drift event and that was pretty cool, can't wait till they get bigger still here and we can get some real pros too, not stuck in japan.


OOoh, ooh, one more thing. In the parking lot i saw this SICK red zenki s13 on some work meister sc1's. Wow it was badass, just wondering if it belongs to anyone on here.

Yea i stayed till the end but im no sure who won. There definetly were some sick 240s in the grass parking over there. Too bad the day was so hot and humid, it would of made it alot more bareable if it was cooler out. But still fun none the less. I had a decent view from the bleachers. I thought that white turbo'ed 5 series beemer blew his motor a few times but nah he came right back out there and did his thing. Where you located anyways?
