Hey guys,
We had a pretty bad icy/snowy weather here in Texas a couple of days ago. I had to go to work early in the morning and as I was making an existing to my work my car got stuck. I had somebody stop to help me pull the car out to the exist and all was fine until he start pulling me to the wrong direction and went a different road ( it was up hill) Anyways, my car was stuck but after all the b/s I had all that day I got the car towed home. however I guess I must've been revving the engine too high for too long trying to get my car out because I just tried starting my car today because the weather is better I am hearing this noise that is coming from the bottom area of my engine.
Would you guys be able to identify what this noise is? let me mention that I also had issue with a little leak coming from the main seal.

May sound a bit silly but let's start with the obvious, how's the oil level? What type of oil are you using and when was it changed last?
Secondly, when revving the engine at idle, does the noise increase in speed and sound? Or does it go away?

The oil level when I checked was fine. I changed it about 1500 miles ago, I have not tried revving the engine at idle, but I will definitely try it.
what if the sound does go away what would that indicate? I'll check the level again just to make sure, but don't you think it sound like it may have something loose within the engine?. I think I'll try draining the oil to see if I see any metal pieces come out.

Pull the valve cover and check the timing chain guide

Thanks for the information guys. Keep em coming I'm not very good with cars so when I heard this noise I thought my bottom end may be fucked and was already looking for another engine.
I'll check it out.
But what do you guys think of the sound though? it doesn't sound like a knock or possibly bad bearings?

Seems kind of weird, but to me it sounds like the noise might be coming from the fan...
I'd check the nuts that hold the fan onto the water pump pulley. If not that, I'd start checking things out with a stethoscope, or a screwdriver up to your ear.
I've never heard a bottom end sound like that, but I haven't heard a whole tonne of blown blocks either.
Best of luck!

God damn. You were right!!!! it was the fan bolts holding it is fine but the port that the fan is attached to is kinda loose. I can't explain but thanks a bunch!

the fan bolts onto the water pump. if the water pump bearing is shot it will usually wobble and make a fucked up noise. easy fix though.
