Hello I'm a long time scavenger on this forum but actually signed up and making my first official post today :coold: Anyway, a friend of mine has a timing issue with their vehicle and would like to help them out. The only problem that I have is that I don't know how to get the car into the "Work Support" mode. Or tell the ECU that it is in some sort of timing adjusting mode. This car originally had the SOHC and was obviously converted. From my understanding that when people do the swap the diagnostic connector for the consult no longer functions. What do you guys do to circumvent this issue and get the timing told "hold?" I am aware that I must disconnect the throttle sensor, but will timing adjustments hold in the ECU with just doing this? Thanks :)
