i am putting a kit together... I advise you not tap into the original lines like most people. I was going to do this my self... but i instead decided to go with a dual rear caliper set up and have an independent ebrake set up to avoid have brake issue while driving and hitting brakes and ebrake at the same time.

I agree with not tapping into the original brake lines, I did this with my pbm hydro and it will lock the tires but not without using enough force to pull you out of the driver's seat. If you are dead set on using a hydro then do it with a dual caliper set-up or u will regret it later.

I know your just starting but if you plan on doing any Pro Am stuff in the future, a lot of them will not allow an inline set up. It must be dual caliper. So go ahead and save up for the kit. Just nice to know that no matter what at least I have a back up brake if one set decides to go out.
