thanks man r you west/ east cost cuz id like to meet some ppl on the east i live in fayetteville NC. the wheel will be volk GT-N 17-18 i dont know yet and i need to find out how much offset i will need and if not the GT-N's id get the Gram lights Pro 57 i think there called they have a bunch of offset # and im not to fimilar with these #'S . the motor i dont know what i want to do i would love a SR and my KA is all to hell right now in the shop guy told me a new batery now i need a starter so an S14 SR would be awsome. the BN kit is my fav kit it is awsome. why is that soooo wrong? Volk GT-Ns are not good enough? fyi, even for the ridicolous sized wheels you mentioned, gtns come in those widths, as big as 18x13 and even can be ordered with negative offsetting. gt-ns are the hotness. i guess volk is not good enough for you. you must get ssr or work.

Things you need to rock BN Blister

18x10 and 18x12 is huge. too huge for my taste especially for s13. anything bigger than 17 looks too big on small slender s13 body. 18s look ok on s14s, but bigger wheels are not always better. weird staggered setup you mentioned too. go 18x11 and 18x12. why the 2in difference between front and rear wheels? b/c its rwd? hmm. why the hell not just go 18x13 all around?

3. Wheels that match the style, most likely some kind of Speed Star wheel
gt-ns dont match the style? gt-ns are hot imo. what kinda wheels do you think match the style? of course, SSR professors. everyone and their moms want ssr professors. its like a ricer's dream wheel next to a set of te37s. everybody wants them..

with your sugguested sizes, you should run at least 450 hp.

5. Suspension for days
suspension probably is gonna be done but funds might limit or slow down suspension to be top notch. btw suspension eventually ends somehwere. youre going to run out of things to stiffen/replace. its how you tune the suspension to your driving style that counts.

6. Blingin Paint
well, i gotta agree with this one. dont buy some bn kit and slap it on primered or even worse ghetto unpainted. rocking some peeling maikos or miracles paint job is a shame as well.

7. Super Pimped out custom interior
do you mean, custom white/whatever color your car's paint is? reuphosltered everythign? or teh gutted 'racer' look interior?

This is crazy i didnt think every thread would have insalts on it. I just wanted to ask some simple Q's about the kit not to be told im stupid to the guy talken about me and schooling ima stay in school. Also im not going to spend every cent on a 12 year old car that would be stupid.

But thanks to those that didnt put me down for my tast and "STYLE". Color is a big problem i was thinken a deep blue maybe its hard i have no ideas for that yet. The GT-N's were can you find the off set sizes. I was thinken 17's as well i dont think the 18's would fit right. I need to find out how much wider the fender is to see how wide i need them.

Scott, I don't think I know more than this guy nor am I trying to sound high and mighty. I'm just expressing an opinion like anyone else on this forum. My words have been coming out unusually harsh lately so I'll definitely be toning it down. I'm not trying to force my opinion like some kind of religious psycho either. I'm sure you'll agree but it is very hard and takes a lot of money to make the blister kits look good. I think that is helpful information for the original poster to know. As for my personality, some things just bring out the worst in us. This is definitely atypical of the way I am online and in real life. You've met me and I can honestly say that that is how I am. get 18's. 17's will look too small. The signal 180 has 18" gram lights sometimes and only 30mm widened fenders in front and (i may be mistaken) rolled/pulled fenders in back?

think about that and then imagine a car w/60,00000mm widened fenders and 17's. you might think that width has little to do with height in this scenario, but 17x12 would look stupid compared to 18x12. plus with 18's you can say :fawk: to anybody.

Back on topic. Do these rear bumpers come with cut outs for the exhaust or not? I always thought it was interested that they have such a squared off cut out, and was kinda wondering if they sell them w/o the cuts so people can make their own to accomidate their exhausts.

For example, Dousan's exhaust has an extreme angle and he had to cut his AIT bumper to fit it. I'm thinking, based on what people say that BNsports intends their aero to be used on outrageously overkilled cars with wildy angled exhausts, or who knows what, that you have to make the cut yourself.

Hmmmm. BN Sports Blister is a hard one to pull off. Those fenders are sooo WIDE its insane.

I would go: ~25mm wide fenders in front, pulled rears about 30mm with the normal BN Sports kit (not BLISTER) and some way mroe mild and maneageable wheels. Like something 17x9.5 +12 (or 0) Front and rear. I'd rock 5mm spacers in front and 20mm in the rear. Or maybe some 18 in the rear if you can afford tires.

One thing to note... all this suspension and wheel change and shit will make the car have a lot of bump steer and scrub radius. To fit 10+ inches of wheel up front on S13 you need to modify the shit out of the fenderwells. There is not much room, and things start rubbing (especially with a healthy amount of caster).

Also, if its a showcar, fuckit, get 18s in front and 19s in rear. If its a drift car, 17s in front are much better. A you can have a smaller than stock overall diameter and run low offset, lots of caster and not rub anything, even when the car is DUMPED. While the tire is stretched, a 215/45(or 40)/17 on 17x9.5 +12 still has a ghood amount of sidewall compared to a 215/40/18 (bigger diameter but same sidewall height=rubbing problems). To get the same overall diameter as the 17 with 215/45/17 an 18 would have to run 215/35 or lower/18 which is rare to find and even then not safe to stretch imo due to the tiny sidewall (40 series is pushing it).

Anywyas, what does all that mean? It means your car can still retain a good amount of grip (you'll need it) on the front tires, while being a smaller diameter which is better (less rotational mass far away from the brake rotor means better stopping, for instance).

Rear? Shit if you can find them or have the $$$ get some 18x10 or 10.5 +10s. Stock fenders pulled like a motherfucker will fit that exact size (and look hot as HELL) with 235 or 245/40/18.

well the gramlight 57 pro can comes in 18*10-56 a-disk. thats pretty crazy, but they offer no wider than 10.
