Description: I have an 1992 RHD RX7 that i would like to see if anyone is interested in. It has 79000 km on odometer or 49k miles. not really going to go into much detail unless PM'd.
All glass has been replaced to US regulations and has passed state inspection and emissions.
BAD: Not state registered yet. Have export documentation in japanese and english, have a bill of sale from previous owner and myself and has a current va inspection & emissions. Needs to be brought to CBP to be inspected, from there you can register it as a parts car and still get a title or get it inspected by NHTSA and get a title after recieving the paperwork.
Left side fender will need to be replaced do to previous owner had a buddy try to roll a fender and it just went bad or repair it.
5th gear grind (common for 3rd gen FDs, other than the grind the transmission shifts amazing)
Don't flame on my thread please, car is sitting till i either register or sell.

Can't be a 92. 92 were 2nd gen black convertible with brown interior. Very rare.
This is likely a early 93 production. Clean 7 either way. Free bump

New? Most 93 rx7s are built in early 1992 which on an imported car would go by the manufacture date not projected year of sale...if your not sure on something google can help before u post nonsense...and the car you referring to is called fc turbo 2 savanna...

Not most. 10/92 - 12/92 released as 1993 cars. Roughly 11/91 - 09/92 were 92 models, however, 92 model were only available in Japan and Australia. I say its not likely because most 92's are high mileage or Marines stationed in Japan buy them and crash them.
Also, the 1992 vert is not a "Turbo 2". The T2s were sport versions of the hatch.
No need filling this mans thread with nonsense. GLWS, I won't be back.

I am saying it is a 92 because on my export paperwork it says last register in mid 92. But thanks for not bashing on the thread guys. Im currently talking with a registered importer to make everything right with this car. I may even keep it if i get the state title finished before a trade.

That's funny since there's 15 FDs at my buddy's shop right now and I just looked at a newcomer that's there for a rebuild and it was built 3/92 not a Jdm car but a us spec car....but maybe your logic looks good on paper?....TTT for a awesome car!!! It's the "nonsense" and misguided info that keeps it at the top

Rb27dets14 just as an FYI the 92 model year was available in Japan and Australia, but had not met crash and emissions test standards in the US at the time so Mazda USA continued with the FC chassis for an extra year. Most 93 FDs including my old one, were built in late 91 and sat in limbo until they were released.
