Quite crying and take out the back seat's. You don't want to drive your friends everywhere anyway

Not really, you'll have plenty of room left over.
who needs a trunk when you got a nice sub and amps,
should have bought a coupe, i got tons of space left and i got a JL 12w3 and 3 amps back there
use tha backseat as ur trunk thas what i do. works wonderfully i haev a 15 in my trunk and a amp board mounted on the "bump in our trunks" for da s-14's and i have enough room for ummmmm a few books here and there LoL

The prob is that i work in downtown los angeles...real bad area here. My shipping manager had his car broken into and they stole his speakers and head unit. And this was right in front of our work on our side of the street at 11am on a busy workday!!! So if i have anything showing kiss that stuff good bye. Too many crack heads and thieves willing to break your window and just grab anything to make a buck or two
hmmmmmmm well my friend dont put the sub in...... thats the only solution or get rid of the spare tire and put it in there.... custom..... expensive yes.... but it would be worth it then i suppose in the end so that u dont get ur stuff stolen.

man...i just hope that i get some 6 X 9's in the back, that'll be plenty for me

Of coz my 98 feels faster but i'm always partial to my fastback.
6x9? the 95-98 have only 6 1/2's front and rear.

yeah, but i was thinkin' of just boxin' the 6 X 9's n mounting them on top of that back panel or looking to c if possibly if i could fit them in the original slots somehow. if not, i'll just replace them w/ some nice 6.5's.
6.5's will do the job look into the infinity Kappa's from the old series of Kappas they're like 100 for a 6 1/2 s which is what u need.

what about those pioneer 6.5's? i was looking at some of those, they're around $60-70 on base w/ no tax.
they're good i have those.... i would recommend them especially for the price

yeah, i think i'm gonna get those, a basic pioneer 50 X 4 deck, n probably the same speakers in the front n back, if the 6 X 9 thing won't work in the back. but those r my speaker plans, should get done in a month or so, waiting on something to sell.
id say get the 6 x 9's and put them in box's it sounds good like that

that's what my friend did with his truck. just boxed up 2 6x9's and puts them under his seat. sometimes up on the arm rest. they dont' sound to bad either. Sony Xploids. but I mean, they stay put under the seat, when you pull them out it looks kinda ghetto, but if no one sees them, then you're all set.

Please dont get Pioneer or Sony x-plod speakers. There are much better speakers for just a tiny more money. Blankflip try getting some CDT audio speakers for your car...you will not be disappointed...i was gonna get Inifinty Kappa perfects 6.1's instead i got a small company named CDT and i was just amazed!!! My front and rear are both CDT's and also have thier componentst too.

yeah, i plan on boxing them probably, n still putting 6.5's in the stock spots later. all u gotta do is mount them (or just rest them there) right behind the back seat, i'd just keep the back seat down probably, that's the best place i can think of. but i'm thinking they'll fit just right againt the back of the rear window, n i could just take those original speaker covers out, n instead of them facing up, they'll be facing towards the front of the car.
gregshin, just buy 10" subs and mount them in the pannel by your back seat. That way they won't get stolen and you won't lose any trunk. Mount the amp where your factory amps were (assuming you got rid of them) or put it in where your spare tire used to be. check http://www.240sx.org go to the INSTALLS section and find JOHN'S TIGHT BASE SYSTEM IN AN S14. When/If I ever get around to doing sound stuff, this is what I'm gona do.

do not buy pioneer, the only thing that is okay to be generic is your head unit. pioneer is okay for that, but dont get the speakers, if you compare pioneer 6.5 and infinity's you will see a difference will worth the money, i've worked at 2 pawn shops now where i sell car audio and i would never use pioneers myself, and i would only push them on kids who are getting there first stereo and just want something better than stock.
i have infinity 4x6's up front (s13) and boston acoustics in the back and i want more. hit up somewhere that sells used stuff and test out ask much as you can even if you want to buy new. just to get a good idea.
if you want pioneer 6.5's you might as well get a jensen amp and a rampage sub from Wal-Mart, in fact you couild buy the whole lot there, they have a good deal on pioneer decks and speakers around here at wal-mart

i've never had a problem w/ pioneer, n they've never died on me or nething, but then again, i've never used nething else. i'm not really a big audio enthusiast or whatever, so i'll probably just go w/ the pioneer stuff here, it puts out what i need, actually it sounds really good to me. i buy the best pioneer stuff they have, so it's not all that bad i guess. sorry
hey i have one of the clearest best sounding systems in my county and i have pioneer speakers all around for mids highs and mid bass

sweet, hoping i wasn't the only one that liked pioneers stuff. i had 2 6 X 9's in the rear, 2 6.5's in the front, 2 tens, n 2 amps, all by pioneer, n i thought it sounded great in my first car.
