*NOTE*

The gray plug DCC is only usable if you are running a Kouki 180sx dash harness. Kouki 180s didn't use a sub-harness for the DCC, the connectors are just wired into the dash harness. Also, the black plugs from the older sub-harness don't plug into the gray plug DCC unit.

Of course you can make your own custom harness with enough time and patience....and if you can find a kouki 180sx wiring diagram....good luck lol.

I have a type x chassis harness with the gray plug in. I bought an older model DCC and only had to trim the plugs to make them fit and everything worked perfectly.

Ok but that's the opposite of what would need to be done here. You can't really trim the back of the dcc unit itself in order to make black plugs from a sub-harness fit. And most people don't have access to a kouki type-x harness.
