89 SOHC to 95 DOHC

Hello, I am new to the whole 240sx thing... I have researched several days. (Hello from NASIOC!)

I cannot find anything to confirm that it will work with a 95 KA24DE harness and ECU. I have the 95 tranny, harness, ecu, dizzy, and the whole motor sitting in the car at the moment... I just seen several posts where people just remedied this by going with s13 DOHC parts to adapt the 95 KA24DE :eek3:

I read something about Jim Wolf having a write up to adapt the s13 sohc to s14 harness, but have no luck finding it

First time swapping a motor, I am coming from a WRX/STi background;knowledge so please give me a break... Haha! :bow:

If your trying to use an s14 harness and ECu, your going to have to swap over quite a few wires to fit the s13 chassis. If your trying to use an s13 dohc harness on the s14 motor, you will need the s13 distributor, the s13 lower intake manifold, the s13 ignition coil, and the s13 MAF.

From what I know... I just have to get both diagrams of both wiring harnesses and just splice and mate up to which goes where? :)

make it easier on yourself and use the s13 ka24de IM(complete), dist, maf etc (also use s13 harness and ecu

Hmm.. I should have the s13 ignition coil soon... s13 maf i already have.

I was wondering if i can through this without going thru the hassle. I traded a running TE72- 1980 Toyota Corolla DX for my s13 :D So i am trying to get by with what I have haha
