Testing the waters with my Cressida (clean title, 104xxx miles) and considering to sell. It is a 1989 Toyota Cressida with a 1jzgte swap and w58 5-speed transmission. It has working AC and power steering. Below is an in depth description of the all the work done to it:
Engine:
-t67 turbo kit with external waste gate (Have an extra Precision 46mm waste that may come with the car if I get asking price); made 303whp at 10lbs on a conservative tune. Easily could do 350whp with a bit more boost (15psi)
-3" v-band downpipe
-manual boost controller
-4" intake
-Aluminum radiator and 14" fan controlled by a thermoswitch
-12" pusher on front of the condenser (AC WORKS)
-Front mount intercooler
-3" custom cat back into an Apexi N1 muffler
-JDM 440cc injectors (also have the stock 1j injectors and rail)
-Aeromotive AFPR with gauge and Driftmotion install kit
-Apexi SAFC2
-AEM WB02 gauge
-New coolant sensors (gauge and ecu)
-All timing components have been replaced in the last 3k miles (new OEM seals (cams and crank), tensioners (timing and serpentine), timing belt, idler pulleys, serpentine belt, valve cover gaskets, PCV, intake manifold gaskets (when injectors were installed), have over $2k worth of receipts in parts from the past couple months)
-Stage 3 driftmotion clutch
-Supra rear LSD with new Mobil 1 fluid
-Walbro fuel pump
-Has working A/C (auto function works too)
Suspension/Brakes:
-Cusco front strut bar
-300zx front brakes (4-piston calipers)
-Excessive Manufacturing front tension rod bushings
-New rear pads and rotors
-New steering rack
-New power steering pump
-Excessive Manufacturing rear sway bar links
-ABS light is on, haven't looked into it much but maybe has to do with the bigger calipers and the higher volume of fluid.
Interior:
-In pretty good shape, dash is cracked but there is a cover on it
-Has a boost gauge on the a-pillar
-Passenger side seat belt doesn't retract
-Seats are faded a bit
Exterior:
-JDM headlights with built in fog lights
-JDM mx83 front bumper (could use some work but its on there)
-MK4 Twin Turbo Supra Wheels (17x8 FR, 17x9.5 RR) New rear tires (255/40/17) and front tires in great shape (have factory wheels and tires as well)
-Volvo 940 front lip
-Camaro rear spoiler (fits surprisingly well)
What needs work:
-Needs a paint job
-Rear shocks may need to be replaced soon but drives well now, I drive it everyday and just came back from a 600 mile trip with no issues whatsoever.
Other issues that could be remedied:
-Tilt function on sunroof works going up but doesn't come down
-Needs two speakers for the radio (factory radio works like a charm)
-Power antenna doesn't go up. Motor runs but doesn't go up, could be an issue with the antenna motor gear)
-Power door locks don't work
-Horn fuse keeps blowing, short to ground somewhere.
Great car overall, tons of potential and gets lots of love everywhere I go. Have a bunch of spare parts that will go with. Text me with questions or if you're interested. Asking $6500 or best offer. Not looking for trades, just possibly selling to pay off some student debt. Car is in North Miami, Fl.
