Hi, I am going to be getting some coilovers this winter and I was looking at either PBM or Function and Form. I have a n/a ka s14 with bolt ons. I dd it and am planning on doing some autox and a few track days. Nothing too serious just some fun. I know Function and Form are probably a lower quality or worse coilover but are the PBMs worth the extra money?
Thanks

Oh boy, here we go.

Use the search function and/or google to find the information that you seek. On zilvia, making a thread covering a topic that has been beat to death will backfire on you.

But to answer your question, there are better coilovers for AutoX than PBM and F&F.

I would have to say PBMs are worth the extra money.

Hey, it was nice meeting you at SEMA, thank you for stopping by the booth - and thank you for the shirt!

FEAL, especially if you plan to actually use them for auto x. The guy can set them up to your specs

1. Monotube
2. Pick the one that claims to have separate rebound and compression adjustability, if possible
3. Best resell value, because as soon as you get better or get serious you will want another set up if you choose either of these brands.

i highly doubt the guy is looking for 2 way or 3 way adjustable dampers. if hes asking about coilovers priced in the $1000 range, hes looking for something more entry level.

If a coilover has separate rebound and compression adjustment, it will be blatantly obvious.

just get BC or dmax. I personally don't like anything PBM
