Anyone wanna take a stab at WTF is wrong with my car before I set it on fire?

Its a 90 stock KA. When I try get moving from first gear occasionally the car bucks violently as if I'm just learning how to drive stick. At first I thought it was the clutch, then I had the clutch replaced and it STILL does it.

The most frustrating part is that it does it inconsistantly, but especially when attempting to drive uphill.

One thing I noticed is that the rpms will rise but the car won't move, then the car will move once the rpms drop. :-/ The problem only occurs in first gear and you can somewhat feel it in second, but in first its neck jerking.

This is the LAST thing I need right now. :rl:

Does it bucks in every gear? I ran into the same problem, changed the spark plugs and everything was fine.

Nope just first gear. Just had a tune-up and replaced the spark plugs and wires.

try cleaning your MAF with carb cleaner. just make sure you dont get it on your paint cause it will eat your paint finish.

carb cleaner on a maf??!?!?! dear god no!!! the proper way to clean a maf is with a plastic bag and a light alcohol and water solution. you fill the bag with the maf inside and swirl gently.
