Iv tried to look up sizes on making my own s13 solid motor mounts where I'm a machinist but I'm finding sizes everywhere from 2 3/4 to 4 inches long. Any help

I'm not sure of s15 sr's but the other 2 should be direct drops.

You dont want solid billet mounts on any 4 banger...shit will vibrate the ever living crap out of your car.

Solid aluminum mounts are the crappiest mod you can do to a 240sx. It will only make the vehicle unpleasant to drive and cause all the bolts to unfasten from the vibrations. Just get some urethane mounts. If you want aluminum mounts i have some i took out of a shell i bought sitting in my crap bin. Ill sell them to you for $10.00

What I'm getting out of this thread is to go with solid mounts.

Always go with solid mounts.

If there were an "Ignorant Posts" thread in existence, I'm pretty sure this one would be in there. I'm also pretty sure that if Nismo's WORLD-RENOWNED PARTS LINEUP was nothing more than 'JDM fanboy' stuff; that their prices would have dropped dramatically as the people who like to get what they pay for would have migrated elsewhere.

It's a big forum- Please go be stupid elsewhere.

Obviously poster was stating the obvious. Nissan is not known for producing quality, respectable racing equipment...

I felt a pretty good diff with nismo mounts, but because they are a stock like replacement, they will eventually wear the same as the oem ones.
I'm assuming g you want solids because you are able to make them yourself.
You could always make the solids and then make some type of rubber isolator(height adjustment) to somewhat soften the shock feeling.

Idk what's all the fuss about solid mounts. I have solid aluminum motor mounts and peak performance poly tranny mount and my car feels fine. It actually rattles less than when I had my KA with hockey puck mounts. All you gotta do is check your hardware after events/daily driving.
