There is no safe way of doing it...its all on faith that the other person wont fuck you over. Unless you guys agree to put a deposit on each other's wheels and release the money back to each other when you get each other's wheels. Even then, whats the chance he wont send you your money back after? Too many shit can go wrong basically.

Paypal Deposit on both ends is the best way to do such a thing. I personally would not do that at all.

Circle of trust. I'll say this much though, i dont buy/trade stuff from anyone on here unless they have some sort of evidence to back that they are legit.
Even still you never know.....
Tracking
Insurance
Invoice
Paypal
Pictures of wheels in boxes you'll be shipping them in so on and so fourth

Unless the person is extremely reputable I would be VERY hesitant about this.
What I would suggest is basically two sales.
If the wheels are $1k, you send him $1k via Paypal, NOT as gift, he sends you a set of wheels with tracking number and insurance. When you receive the wheels, then he sends you $1k, and you send him the wheels with tracking and insurance.

maybe make up a contract with him about the sale or trade of the wheels and have both parties sign it. (you and him) ?
