Looking to get the project done this week.... i've heard that when u boost ur car it's better to run colder plugs... I was wondering what are sum of u running? and is it necessary to change them?

I am not running colder plugs, infact I asked the exact same question and nobody knew the anwer. I have been playing around with different plugs and gappings lately and I found that 42degrees seems to work pretty well.
If anybody has found this to be to the contrary let me know.

BKR7EIX-11, pretty sure they are the Iridium version if not its the standard with the 7 heat range.

This will give you more info about colder spark plugs. (click) (http://www.sentra.net/tech/sparkplugs.php) I think the rule of thumb was supposedly to go one step colder per 100hp increase to the engine.

NGK BKR6E11, gap = .037
I tried BKR7E11 but they were too cold(misfire/fouling) for my application..

how does the .037 work for you. cant you make it that small if you are running abit lean.

ND ik27 plugs work for me. gap at 28 - 30

I'm running NA z32 plugs, one step colder than stock (and one step colder than TT plugs), gapped to .025.

what kind of boost are you running and did you happen to notice a difference of the .042 gapping that ngks come with.
