earlier this morning i started my car up and drove home from my friends house. i turn my car off, run inside to grab something, then come back out to my car to find that it wont start? the dash lights up, horn works and all that, so it cant be the battery. my check engine, oil, and battery lights are on, and so is my brake...even though my e-brake doesnt work to begin with. i dont get anything when i turn the key, and all i can think of is maybe somethings wrong with the starter, i dunno though. So if you guys could offer any advice or suggestions thatd be great because i really hate not having a car to drive. i have a 92 coupe by the way with like a 130,000 miles if that matters at all.
please help me out...

just cause your lights light and your horn works that doesn't mean your battery is good, it take a lot more to start a car than it does honk a horn. Try jumping it, then check fuses and fusible links, etc. What does it sound like when you try starting it a rapid clicking noise is usually a bad battery or ground.
