Left to right play will always be there, it's the in and out motion you should be worried about. As long as you have your tension rods connected I wouldn't see a problem.

With that much play? Because I can literally just jiggle it around with one hand and I mean versus 1400 pounds on each wheel, seems dangerous

did you not press in the bushing into the stock metal bushing housing?? your supposed to re-use the metal housing. it looks like you pressed out the housing and just put the rubber bushings in the arm. just my guess but if you did, you did it all wrong.

I was just about to edit my post saying that's what happened.
My buddy removed the metal sleeve in which ES bushings say "Remove rubber bushing only. DO NOT REMOVE SHELL."
So now I am going to have to purchase Whiteline bushings

yeah thats what i figured. looked wayyy too loose. your buddy fails and should be buying you the whiteline bushing =)
hate energy suspension bushings. i think they're horrible for the DIY'ers
last time buying energy suspension parts. requires so much work when they can make it easy like whiteline or superpro.
