Okay so I'm trying to find out Wich wire is power to my compressor, so what I first thought would be the compressor wire is the blue wire coming out of the fuse box under the intake. Anyways I hooked that up to the compressor ( I jumped the ac dual pressure switch) I then did the switch on car off. I turned on the blower and hit the ac boton. The bottom turns on but no power to compressor from blue wire . Wich wire is the wire for the compressor? Everyone has told me it's that wire but it's not doing any justice. What can be wrong?

does the blue wire have 12v when tested? does the pin for ac power (check ecu pinout) have a blue wire coming off it? does this wire have continuity?

its not even hot what you trying to get a jump on it for..

Anyways in all seriousness if that is the wire everyone is saying is the switch then maybe the short is somewhere else. Are you getting any voltage at the pressure switch? start testing other systems, and if you plan to do this shit yourself. BUY the right tools Ie continuity tester.

Good luck

Did you notice he's in florida? lol. It's still hot here bro.
Op check power at the relay.

You can get a useable multi-tester at harbor freight for $0-5 depending on what coupons you get.

Posters above are right about wanting to make sure the pressure switch is getting power and distributing it. That is the heart of the system.
No power to it, check the fuse and relay. No signal to it trace back to the ecu.No output, check your pressure.
If it is working properly then you can check the line from it to the compressor.

I have no voltage at the "wire" I'm just going to swap in my new switch and have the system filled since it has a new compressor, drier and expansion valve that I installed and see maybe if it then will work.. Thanks for the help though.

Is the system filled now? The compressor won't kick on if the system is empty.

He was trying to jump the press switch. And I noticed your in Florida. I'm in az and it's not hotter than 80 degrees here

Florida is not an excuse, if you plan to fill it make sure you vacuum test it first also.

dont know if this will help ,but have you tried jumping the switch on the receiver/dryer just unplug at the plug ,and stick paper clip in the 2 post. it scenes pressure in the system. should make your compressor kick on.

If you read the first post, it states that it tried that and that's how I got the ac light to turn on

Have you taken a wire direct from the battery to the compressor to see if the clutch itself is good? With engine off you'll hear it click on/off.

If it does, and you've jumped the pressure switch, it's time to trace continuity between wires.

Yes I've done that and it grabs

Then all you need is to charge it and it will work.

I'm just going to go ahead and give it a charge and see what happens.
