i always liked the altima...just didnt know there was good fan base there! they even has turboed KA done to their car =)

do they have the same engines as us? sorry, guess i never really looked into maximas, altima, or similar type cars.

this may surprise ya but the 240's, altimas and the frontier all have the same engine from 89-98.

yeah it does actually, i'm surprised i never knew the altimas have the same engine as us.

yea the engine code is the same but there is differences on the engines...

same engine code....main differences are altimas engine is built in the US.....actually some in mexico.....the distributor is attatched to one of the cams,  they have lower compression pistons, and slightly lower hp ratings.....150 untill 200 when they got 155.  They also have a more desirable exhaust cam I believe.

in japan the altimas are called bluebirds and have the sr20det ff in it over there. very nice car. alot of cars share the sr motor. its the best nissan built. well one of the best

Yeah, I was wrong. It's 150hp and 154 lb/ft torque.
