Well in the process of taking of my headers we broke the EGR tube. So i dunno what to do... the place were it broke is really close the the part that screws in to the down pipe so welding wont work.... so any ideas.... the shit seems really hard to replace ... it goes all the way to the intake manifold somewhere and it runs between the engine and the firewall.....any ideas??????

well.. if i were you, im just going to block the EGR on the intake side.. pull that pipe out and throw it away..
unscrew the bung on the exhaust manifold.. put 2 nickels, and put the bung back in...
Just an Idea of what I would do if I were you.

*edit* dammit, bandit beat me to the nickels *edit*
nickels. take the pipe completely off, and fill the holes in the header and EGR vacuum thing with a nickel.

Cheap. Most people (KA-T) remove them, and just put a WTB post up for one. Or, find a FS post for someone parting out a KA (if they swapped to an SR). Then it's just 2 bolts in the rear intake manifold and a new gasket.

is there any easier way to get to it? it looks like is barried really deep in the intake manifold area... i dont like the idea of taking my hole intake mani area apart,,,

I would just remove it all together! Working on an EGR removal write-up, but may be a few weeks before I'm running & know if everything works!
However, I have an S13 & S14 EGR tube if you would like one. I just compared the two, and they ARE different. PM me if interested.
$10 shipped
