WTB: Vehicle Speed Sensor for 1991-1994 240sx 5spd Manual KA24DE

Title says it all. I need the VSS for a 91-94 5spd. The driven gear would be nice too, but not neccesary. Shipping would be to 99021. I just ask the thing works. It doesn't need to be flawless, I just don't want to pay $200 to Nissan for a new part. I'd hope to find it for under $100, but if you have one for sale for anything less than $200 let me know in this thread.

i have a 93 ka24de motor and tranny sitting in my shop. I am not sure what exactly it is that you need. if you could tell me where the part is i have one.

Passenger side of the transmission, back near the driveshaft. It's a plug that hooks up to the driven gear and sits right under the ass of the passenger. I'm not sure how long the cable is that's hooked up to it, but it can't be that long. The wiring may unplug at the sensor itself, which would make it really easy.

So long as it's for a 5spd from a 93 I'm happy. What do you want for it?

so is it in your tranny or your differential???

It's in the transmission. It's right at the back of it on the passenger side. If I had a camera I'd take a picture and show you, but if you find a service manual for the car I'm sure it'd confirm the location. It should have a wire leading from it back to the front of the car.
