The gp sports gr6 is 6 way dampening adjustable.. Spring preload adjustable as well as coilover bracket height adjustable, camber plates up front and rear pillow ball uppers....
The spring rates for the s13 and s14 are 9/7

The great thing about these is that they have numbers on the side of the shock to show the height.. Less guessing = better...
Well on full soft on the streets it was very bearable. Compared to the jic flta2's these were like stock. They are very stable around corners and on bumps. They bounce but do not hit hard and is not bone jarring.
This past weekend I was at Sears point doing the nasa drifting. And needless to say that most s13's have understeer no matter what you do with it. Well the car had no body roll. Still provided enough grip. And NEVER ONCE... Did it understeer. If you saw the car you would think that there were sway bars on the car as the exhaust did all the swaying. If you need any more info on these Feel free to hit me up.
Yes some of you might think we are biased but NO! Our major seller is Zeal/Endless And thier AWESOME COILOVERS...
NOW HOW IS THAT FOR BIASED...
But yes.. we will be stocking these.. So if you need a set feel free to e-mail.
Also NZO has these on his s14 so you can bug him as well for his review.
Thanks to Auto RnD for hooking me up with these. I have very little experience with coilovers so I dont have much to compare these to, but from what I've seen so far I like them. Theyve totally eliminated body roll and on full soft they are very bearable on the street. Even on full stiff they are streetable, but maybe I just have well-padded internal organs ;) I havent gotten a chance to beat on these yet but I will be using them in an event this sunday so I cant wait to see how theyll perform. The quality seems nice, pretty beefy lower mounts, nice anodized stuff, dust boots, etc. Unfortunately the only downside to these is that the locking nut on the bottom ring is made out of the metal equivalent of butter. The second time I went to adjust it the nut stripped. Luckily they dont seem to serve any real function because I've already lost one while driving and everything seems to hold together just fine. Also the lower mount is similar to stock so I am still able to run 5mm spacer on front and clear the shock body.
Any questions feel free to ask.
Here are a few ghetto pics I snapped:

Wow...they look very nice...I was looking at those a few days back on Jspec.com, I'm very interested in them (when I get the money). Glad to know another source that cares them. What is the case if I have to get them rebulit?

Looks hot NZO!
That numbering system is pretty slick. :coold: I just use the ghetto method (tape measure) with my HEs...
It's amazing how much better a car looks with minimized wheel gap (even better with none ;)).

anybody know if those gr-6's are anodized or zinc coated? would they be also considered rust proof with changes in weather since they are exposed?
AutoRnD

the gp sports are aluminum ... so pretty much they wont rust =)

How do you compare these to the Silk Roads Rm/A8? Kinda torn between the 2. Which one would you recommend?
AutoRnD

its preference honestly... if you are lazy and don't feel like going under the car to change the damping get the gp's if you are going to be adjusting ride height alot w/o tape measurer go w/ the gp sports.
if you want 9/7 spring rates go w/ gp sports =)

how low can you lower an s13 with gp sports gr-6? i am looking for a coil-over that will allow me to slam my car during car shows and have it about 2inches from the ground for drift comps.

thats a good thing to hear, must mean that they are a good quality coil-over. I thought i had my mind set on the tanabe sustec pro DD's but these gr-6's sound like a better quality product!
