Hello,

My car has recently been overheating. Me and a couple buddies replaced the thermostat, water pump, and clutch fan. We have the fan shroud off at the moment for easy access. We checked and replaced the PLUGS, and even burped her on a slant. I have a new aftermarket aluminum radiator, new hoses nothing leaking. Ill be buying a new battery soon as mine is currently dead, have to bump start it. Oil is good, coolant is good everything seems to be working. Also noticed when I give it gas the fan slows down, not sure what that is. My second fan on the radiator seems to not turn on even with the AC on, the AC got cold for a minute then warm as it started to overheat. What is the best solution here new fan or electric fan? any input would greatly help, Thank you!

replace the clutch on your fan. figure out why your ac fans arent working.
if you're not getting sufficient air flow through your new shiny aluminum radiator fins its not going to cool anything down. test your radiator cap. check for kinked line to surge tank. flush cooling system with waterhose (remove thermostat)

dye test it just to confirm we do not have a blown hg. after that check for continuity for the a/c fan.

Hey guys, sorry for the late reply its been a while! And thank you for the input, its much appreciated!

It ended up being air in the cooling system, and got it all out with the bleeder bolt :picardfp: well at least now I know what to check first! Fans are working beautifully now =]
