Iva finally got my car to start and run when cold but now its giving me all kinds of crap when ever i hit the breaks the battery light comes on and the relay for the headlights go's nuts when the ret meter fuse in put it. i'm really at a loss could a bad tcu or ecu cause this? also will not shut off with the key.

Usually bad tcu kills everything not forces it to stay on. Might have a stuck relay. What's your voltage at the battery posts when the engine is running?

Who converted the main harness for you?

it was on the car when i bought it . i'm thinking a short to ground from bad wiring. got a new harness on the way. but if its diode in the ecu idk what kind do get for a replacement.

Could also be a bad alternator. Normally those lights come on when the voltage is too low

the problem i'm not concerned about is the not turning off with the key. it does die when i take the negative battery cable off.
