Way too much. You'd be better off going KA-T and have .4 liters more. It'll run you like $5k total to get the whole thing installed anyways. I was thinking of doing this myself but, $5k could be used to upgrade my suspention.

strokers generally produce more torque at lower rpm

I might be crazy but I thought that stroker kit would be great to build a N/A SR20DE!!! :D Good response from N/A power! :D

And I'm guessing you just wanted the stroker kit to say "Hey! I have a Toda stroker kit on my sr22det." without knowing the reason for it or the price. Now that you've seen the price, you would like to know what it does, to justify the money for it.
Good luck. I help people that help themselves.

its one of those things that are good upgrades if you want to go all out. $5000 is a lot of money, but if you're rich and want to build somehitng great go for it. 5k is a lot of money to the rest of us. if i had 5k i would consider the stroker kit if i wanted to make 650ish hp with more torque. i say this kit is for the perfectionist or hardcore ppl who want the best but you can get by without it.

Don't think of it as only 0.2L think of it as a 10% increase in displacement.

And there are benefits of stroking an engine, just like there are benefits of over-boring an engine. You just need a wealth of time, patience, money, and knowledge to do it right.
