how cool do SR's run?

my clutch fan was removed and im putting a single electric fan from a KA on the KA radiator

i have an s13 w/ sr20det,fmic,exhaust

it used to run fine with just the clutch fan and ka radiator until the fan broke. (clutch fan with no shrowd)

will this keep it as cool?

I Run Dual Electric Fans On S14 Radiator And Run 180-195, With Ac On 200.

Im running a clutch fan without a shroud right now with a koyo radiator. Nothings happened yet, but the engine does feel damn hot after a while. If your waiting in heavy traffic, youll notice your temp meter slowly going up. But over all its not that bad of a deal.

Yeah going with the KA electric fan is legit. Im cureently looking for on. It should bolt right on to your radiator or koyo radiator. I know someone that has no problems with it at all...runs cool and fine.

I would strongly reccommend not running that setup for too long....consider that your FMIC take a lot of air away from the radiator. and that el;ectirc fan is designed to assist the clutch fan which flows a lot of air....not replace it. I know people who have run just the electirc fan, and it is okay for a short while with a SMIC.....but with fmic, they were having overheating issues. Just my opinion.

well im runnin electric fan 15lbs of boost round and it doenst go above half way on the temp guage... i mean if the needle starts at cold and moves up as car runs longer that means its functional right?

no overheating problems here
