I posted this on the 240sx mailing list too, Im going to to get them to setup the group buy hopefully..

Full A pillar design from lowtek, I know that people keep bringing this up but they never follow through with it, I really want one of these so lets send him an email telling him we are in on it...someone from the list cordinate a group buy and lets follow through this time, here is the email I received back from him.

Michael,

We had a group buy project in the works last year - but it kinda fizzled
out.  It was for the model with the tweater built in.

The first step s to get us an OEM pillar for evaluation.  Then, if it looks
like we can form the pillar on our machines, we will build a mockup pillar
from the OEM pillar for you to test-fit for proper angle and position of
the pods.  After the mockup is aproved, you send it back along with 20
prepaid orders (i.e. 20 for single, 20 for double, etc.).  We will then
fabricate the mold and manufacture the pillar.

Is there ever a plan for the nissan 240sx  specifically 95-96 model.

Thanks,
Michael M.

I don't quite get this post. They need to design one first?  Why not just get a autometer gauge pod, maybe ask a distributer of autometer for a group buy. There not expensive.

Yeah, I was gonna go in on that too. . In fact, I was the guy that fitted the prototype on my S14 =)
It was just a crude prototype, but everything was in a nice spot, visibility was good, etc..
Not quite sure what happened.... I actually forgot bout it till right now.

Streetpower...refer to my replies on 240SX.org mailling list.  Lo-tek is truly LOW TECH.  Some operation ran out of this guy's garage.  Very unprofessional people there.  Hardly answer their phone and it's even more rare to get an email reply from them.  By the way, for those of you here on Zilvia.net, I was the one who was originally in charge of this buy.

THAT'S right... it was a POS company. . haha I knew it'd come back...  Anyway.. if they did make them, it woulda been nice!! I liked the placement. . I could kind of pretend with the prototype =)  from the front view, looked like I had a REAL pillar pod. .
