Hi All,

I've had to replace the rubber fuel hoses from both the hard line to the bottom of the fuel filter (z32) and the hose on the top of the fuel filter to the engine/fuel rail/injectors.

Not a big deal to do, but it seems to need this every few years --- the hoses don't look to be problematic but I'm wondering if its something as simple as the engine heat cracking the hoses or some random engine torque causing this wear?

Seems like my other rubber hoses aren't having any other issues. Could it be that the rubber hose I buy to replace not up the par?

Here's what I'm using - Fuel Line/PCV/Emission Control Hose SAE 30R7 | Goodyear® Engineered Products (http://www.goodyearep.com/productsdetail.aspx?id=10526)

Should I use something else instead?

This isn't a part I would expect to require regular replacement (2-3 years) so if anyone's got any insight as to whether I'm using the correct hose or if there's something causing the premature wear, please chime in.

Thanks!

Are you using hose that's specifically rated for fuel? Or just random rubber hose.

You need to buy fuel line -- all the parts stores carry out, but it's not just regular vacuum hose.
