Trying to prove a point...Which one looks the best in your opinion, not talking about handling, weight etc. just pure asthetics

compare it to a stock hatch, and you'll notice both look also like grandma's car, or a Probe.
I had a hatch for about 9 years, S14 kouki for about 5 years and just switched to an S13 coupe two years ago.
They are all different styles, and appeal to people in different ways. I don't think we're going to come up with an answer of which is the "better" style of the 3 models.

No love for vert?

Kouki 14 is the sexiest. But this is really kind of a redundant question. Some people think coupes are the "best" looking, or hatches or Zeinkis or whatever... It's hard to define best.....

Why is there not a poll attached to this?
S13 hatch. Classic sports car long nose, short deck, fastback profile.

i'd take a clean modded coupe. I like how the guy compared a stock coupe with a hatch that has full type x aero, lights, and lowered with wheels. lol..
When my friend at work and I always get into this debate, tandem of die comes up. both are very very nice, both are close to matching (other than wheels). that would be a hard choice to pick which one. but i always lean to that coupe. I agree there should be a poll attached.. kind of pointless without a poll.

You simply could've made a poll for this thread.

All are great looking in there own unique way. All of them completely stock are average looking (besides type x or kouki) when they are done right they all look so nice. Nissan has done very well with their cars!

My Hatch> Hatch> S13 Vert> S14's> S13 coupe. Still would own any of them, love them all. but like parents, they love one of their kids just a little more than the rest.
Man there are some old threads on the first pages.

I've only owned hatch backs, Love the look. Can't come to terms with a coupe. let alone s14 anything.
Tear drop is the most aero dynamic shape!

Love coupes and hatchs. Just got rid of my zenki 14 currently own a hatch. Love them both. Tho I will say I haven't owned the hatch long enough to be sure but I like the way my zenki slided felt balanced.. hatch is sporty. And I do think I enjoy the manual removable sunroof more than a coupe se sliding one. ..

I own a 1998 kouki. Im about to sll for a coupe that i really like (all stock)
I prefer how the coupes look over all s13/s14 honestly. love that rectangle type shape if you know what imean....silvia front or not, i like shark eye mod best imho.

Hatch all the way. I've owned 2 of them and a S14 Zenki. The hatch straddles the line of having classic looks, but can be modded to ephasize it's contours, which modernizes its looks best of all the models. The S14's rear end is just way too simplistic to modernize, IMO. But s13 coupes with S14 kouki fronts are my second pick.

Have never owned a Hatch. Drove my buddies for 2 weeks and it was okay. You can definitely feel the difference.
I owned 3 Zenki's and a Zenki being my first S chassis and do love dat ass with the Kouki spoiler and much more modern than the S13's, but doors and all body feels too heavy. I dislike the dash.
Coupes......I've owned 6. I simply cannot let go of the simplicity, the lightness, the shape of the whole car. (i.e. quarter panels, squareish looking quarter windows, tailights) just a slick clean look overall.

I've grown to HATE S14's for one simple reason: the frequency of them springing leaks in the gas tank & the difficulty of changing them. When you consider the fact the Nissan's not even making these fuel tanks anymore, I wonder why anyone likes S14's. S13.4 kouki faced coupes/verts have become my new favorite over hatches.

If we're talking stock, the S13 coupe. Of course, that's what I got. But I really prefer the harder edge back to the slope of a hatch. That bit of angularness gives it a more aggressive stance.

This is a tough one. I love both the fastback and the coupe. I think the fastback looks better with BN/Sexy style kit and the coupe's look better in a stock vs stock comparison. Tough though, they both look good kit'd up. And yay for bumping a two year old thread. <3

No one wants a convertible.

I've owned a zenki, kouki, cooupes, hatches, and a vert... And the best looking in track trim (cage, wide, lowered) is my hatch!

I’ve always been a fan of the notchback/angular lines that the coupes have, so that’s my choice for sure.
