Well I think this just might have been my last off road experience in my Custom S13. Many on you have seen the earlier mudding pictures, but I don't think anyone has seen a 240sx catch this much air!

It all starts off at my house. Notice the small amount of oil burn-off at start up!

NOW.....THE MAIN EVENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First attempt at a five feet tall 1/4 pipe style ramp, at a slow 20mph!

Now in that picture everything looks fine, but what you can't see is that I have just started to do a corkscrew spin in the air. I continue to spin until I land on the RF corner of the car causing the car to roll over and smash all of my dreams of taking the S13 into proffesional off road racing!

I also had a friend with a video recorder out there and he got the whole thing on tape. If someone tells me how I will try and upload the jump and flip to the internet for everyones enjoyment.

Also if you belong to another forum please let them all know about this thread. I am going to send in a bunch of pictures to off-roading magazines and to SCC and maybe some other car magazines to see if I could get published for....Well being MYSELF :rawk:

Okay i went out to have the car towed to a friends house today, and when the wrecker showed up the property managment people came out and accused me of destroying a bunch of bushes around the property. I told them I was nowhere near any bushes the entire time I was playing. When we dragged the car into the parking lot one of my friends had grabbed a branch off of a nearby tree and was passing time, by playing with it, then he threw it on my car. I thought it made it look a little more dramatic so i put it under my wiper blade and that is why they think I destroyed their bushes. I had six other people with me the entire time, that can vouch for me, but I don't know what I can really do to prove my inocense (sp?). If you have any ideas let me know.

windshield busted
right front lower control arm bent to hell
right front T/C Rod broken
left engine mount broken
possible right engine mount broken

If anyone has a right front lower control arm and t/c rod that they could sell me for real cheap I would really like to make the car movable real soon, so I can start working on the rest of the project.

You shouldn't have to prove your innocence, they should have to be the ones to prove your guilt. So I'd just tell them to prove you did anything to their bushes... more than likely they'll shut up, because they can't. What evidence is there? A branch from a tree, not even a bush. Plus you have six people to vouch for you, and if the video man was taping the entire day you have that too...

Can't help you with the parts though. Good luck getting it back together. :)

About the video. The guy who took the footage cheaped out and bought a lower model camera that doesn't have a computer port on. So i don't know how I could get it into the computer.

If you have any ideas as to how to get video cassete footage into a computer I am ALL EARS!

Project Update:
The roof has been completely cut off, all windows broken except for the drivers and passenger door windows, and hatch completely removed.

I will begin to clean out the interior soon, and figure somethin gout for a roll cage. If you have any ideas for a CHEAP YET SAFE roll cage (is that one word or two?) please tell me. I am going to go to a junk yard this weekend and see what i can piece together from trucks and jeeps.

I am getting some much needed support from S14DB, Zemus, and 240KAT.

Zemus is hooking me up with the T/C rod and possibly the lower control arm

and 240KAT is getting me the motor mounts
