I know this isn't really the forum for this type of car but i'm looking at getting into a 240/RX7 for my next car, I'll start off by saying this is a gorgeous gorgeous car in fantastic condition, the ONLY reason i'm selling her is because as a 21 year old I'm over for paying the gas, insurance and car payments on this car. I just want to get a much cheaper better on gas car that I can actually track or drift and have a lot more fun with

The car blue books for $13k
I'm going to start off asking 12k OBO and I am definitely willing to do trades with cash on your end ( or not depending on how done up the car is)

2001 Mercedes Benz E55 AMG
Miles 112,XXX
Wheels: 19x8.5 19x 9.5 Monarch Euro 63

I will buy H&R springs to raise the car for the buyer if they want it raised, and car currently has muffler and resonator delete, I will also pay to have them both put back on if the buyer wishes.

PM me or text if you have any questions, ill update with interior pics shortly but the interior is MINT, even the driver seat has zero cracks almost no signs of wear it still looks brand new inside and out.

lol if youre tired of paying a bunch of money for simple things like gas and insurance, idk if the 240 scene is the right place for you. They dont save that much gas unless its a stock sr20 and any money you save from insurance and car payments, you'll more than make up for it and beyond in the cost of maintaining these cars as they do break down a lot. Add in the fact you wanna "drift or track" and you'll be blowing way more money on tires and parts, (and probably repairs too when you eventually crash) then you ever did in owning the merc. but hey, im tryin to get a 240 again too after owning two and dealing with the headaches they gave me, so i guess we're both crazy. lol good luck.

You dont want a RX-7 either. I owned a FD and put 2 motors and 3 turbos on the car. I did have over 400 hp to the wheels but I rarely beat on car. If you do want a RX-7 look into a 2nd gen FC N/A. Not much on power but when you start putting power/boost into a rotary then you have a problem with keeping the motor together.

BTW nice Mercedes and good luck with the car hunt

I agree with you to a certain extent, I too am a FD owner. However, I do believe that the life expectancy depends a lot on the owner. With a proper build/tune and reliability mods. It can be a great reliable car. But definitely not fuel efficient...haha

Well thanks for your opinion but I just know theres no way a nissan will cost anywhere near what an AMG costs to maintain hahah

free bump for a fellow e55 owner. Ive owned 240's they are so much cheaper than my w211 e55. mods are cheaper, way way more aftermarket support, and you can build a nice 240 with used parts. the option to do that isn't really there with our mercs.... especially with your being n/a. im in the same boat I know Ill miss mine but I want a car I can ruin and not feel bad about
