SR20DET Redtop Swap - 2950.00

Selling the motorset out of my coupe and need some cash to start my VE build. This is an early redtop motorset that is very healthy, compression across all four cylinders is right at 160PSI and there are no ticks, clanks, knocks or any other funny noises when in operation. I personally just tossed in a brand new set of NGK BKR7E plugs and it does appear that the water pump has been replaced at some point.

So what comes with the swap? Glad you asked..

- SR20DET Redtop Motorset
- Five speed transmission - no grinds, noises or clunks!
- ACT 6 puck clutch with HD pressure plate
- Nismo pivot ball
- Nismo engine and transmission mounts
- 3" Stainless downpipe
- Koyo radiator with alitma fans
- Converted SR20DET harness and #62 ECU
- Stock sidemount intercooler with GReddy hotpipe and TypeR BOV

Pretty much everything needed to drop in and go, a new lower radiator hose and exhaust will be needed to complete the swap. Looking for 2950.00 for the complete swap, if you don't want or need items a lower price can be negotiated.

No Hobbs is probably the most honest guy you'll ever meet. Read his description, most people won't even post those numbers. He's proving it's a healthy motor. This motor is super solid and has basically everything you need! It's a damn good deal

The fuh? To cover a couple points because this forum never ceases to amaze me with the amount of stupid floating around...

- Seeing as a rebuild or a refresh is a pretty substantial bit about the motor I would have included that information in my sale ad. Nothing in my ad would even elude to the fact that it has been rebuilt or refreshed so I don't know why you have even brought that up.

- Mileage, means squat when dealing with SR20 motors. Unlike 90% of the SR motorsets sold in the US, mine does not have the magical 45k on it, the last owner said it had right around 77k on it, I do not have any tangible proof of that number though. I have seen 60k motors pop while 250k motors are still going strong, all matters how it is taken care of.

- While I am not able to provide proof of some number that most just pull out of their ass, I have provided some proof of the health of the motor. Again unlike 90% of the motorsets that are sold on this forum not only did I take the time to test the compression of the motor along with providing a video of the motor running.

- Warranty, I do not offer any sort of warranty with this motorset, there are too many factors when someone else is installing the motor into another car that is out of my control. Although you DO get the comforting satisfaction of knowing the motor has documented proof of good compression and is in good running condition before it was pulled from the car. If you find this to be out of line go check out all of the large engine importers and read the fine print in their 14 day start up warranties, 95% of the time you are SOL if you get a bunk motor.

- Shipping, seeing as you're from OR I doubt you were actually interested in the first place and just wanted to up your post count. However if that was not the case I should state that I am not willing to ship the motorset.
