I was going to say, you don't get a rebuilt or salvage title without the damage being atleast 70% of the cars value, hitting a tire on the highway does not do 20k worth of damage...

The cars value is about $22,000 ONLY because of the mileage. add 100k miles like most BMWs and the cut the value in half

The catch. That value is only valid if the car were never in an accident. Never had body work and is in FACTORY condition.

Carbon fiber is eh. Some people love it. Some people hate it. who cares. the point is youre only going to be able to sell to a niche buyer. the right buyer at the right time. Probably a rich girl because that color is TERRIBLE. I like purple cars. I do not like Barney purple. Nor does 99% of the 1% of niche buyers that are in the market.

Another thought to sit on. Adding all those parts does not necessarily add to the vehicles value. The exception is if its a purpose built "race car" which is a whole different niche. Jacking up the price on your wrecked car because of carbon fiber pieces wont get you far.

So you are left with 1% of 1% of people who have money to burn to repaint the entire car and buy new wheels after they just spent $20k+ on a 9 year old car that they CANT FINANCE.
