Alright this is gonna sound dumb, but I have no clue if im not turning this thing the right direction or if its just that tight, the egr tube on the exhaust manifold of a ka24de, facing the block from the driver side of the car, should i turn it towards me or away from me.... please help me... I had to swallow my pride after 3 hours of trying and a whole can of PB....

To be more clear, if you are on the driver side fender trying to get it off the exhaust manifold and your wrench end is pointing upwards then you pull towards you. Try tapping your wrench with a hammer. I have removed this pipe 3-4 times already, mines was not as difficult but I did use wd40.

But since ur trying to put it back on push it away from you 👍

Hmm depending on the size of your vice grips if they're small you might not have too much leverage. I used a giant monkey wrench and it wasn't really all that hard.

Sometimes they are just too rusted and cant be removed. Only way is to cut off the tube.
