View Full Version : rear brake caliper (again!)

my passenger rear brakes are screwing up again. i replaced the calipers rotors and pads about 2 months ago and the pads on the inside are wore out again only on the passenger side rear. does anyone have any idea what is going on? help please. :sadwavey:

Did you got yourself a remanufactured (Autozone and similar places) or a used caliper?

advance auto parts caliper. i'm pretty sure it's remanufactured.

Check your receipt for their warranty policies, and try to get them to give you a new one (since it has been 2 month). I don't know about Advance Auto, but the Autozone here has sold me shady reman parts a couple times (busted within a couple weeks).

thanx for the help guys, but it seems it is a kink in the brake line going to that wheel. and it seems to be commonly mis-diagnosed. it was originally the caliper, but that was because of the kink.
