Purchased the shell when I lived in TN back in 2008. Delayed for budget constraints, Iraq Deployment, etc. Looking good now.

looks good, why did you opt to stay bottom mount vs top mount with that turbo ?

how is it for response ?, or is it power at the top ?

I opted for bottom mount for cost mostly...and because I had yet to find anyone who kept the factory manifold. Maybe a reason for that. I'll find out tonight when I fire her up for the first time since the upgrade. JWT ecu comes in today!! I'll let you know the response and such. Also my friend who provided the vlsd's has a dyno, so i hope to get initial numbers running it at 15psi.(wastegate is set at 15, once I'm comfortable, I'll throw a controller on there and take it up)

Test last night was a no go... Fuel pressure regulator was leaking fuel from where the flange meets the rail....Not quite sure why. I sent an email to JGY to ask if they have seen this issue using the factory fpr on their rails... I might go for some Permashield and dress the flange.

New an improved O-ring for that regulator fixed the fuel leak. She fired up and test drove. Took a little while for it to stop stalling, guessing the ecu was learning the atmospheric bov again. It did this when I first did the swap for about a day.
Only issue I am having is exceeding my clutch.... I didn't realize the stage 2 I had in there was rated so low (250hp). I'm shopping for a 6puck now. The clutch slips around 13psi in all gears. Even so, the car still feels great, pulls hard and if I half throttle it I can get a 2nd gear pull. I'll update when I get a better clutch in there.

Spec Stage 3 ordered. Rated for 515tq. Going to attempt an install over the weekend. While I'm at it, hopefully install my vlsd and one piece driveshaft.

Spec installed and broke in! Pulling hard and no clutch slipping!!!!!! I hit 5psi at 3100rpm and full boost (15psi) by 3800rpm. This turbo is pretty sweet! Although, I've never ran a 2871 so I cant really compare with my 3076.
