that is true. But to get it shipped to the US and then customs and then replacing parts to DOT, emissions and federal(if you want to take it that far) specs along with paper work. It doubles in price. So your looking at roughly about $12-14k USD after everything is said and done.

Canadian prices are rock bottom right now. Stock cars are ridiculously cheap....a lot of people are selling R32/33s to bring in 34s. I will say, I am greatly disappointed that prices for my next import will be 50% higher than they are today purely due to US legalization.

Negative, you still need to submit a 5210-1 *3520-1 rather*( http://www.epa.gov/otaq/imports/documents/3520-1.pdf )in order for it to clear customs. If you didn't then your broker did it for you. You check the box for exempt - Code E
