I was riding in a friends jetta last night that had a flowmaster exhaust on it, I think it sounded much sweeter than all the other exhaust out their for small cars. Does flowmaster make or have they ever made an exhaust system for the 240?

They don't make a specific cat-back system, you'd have to get a muffler from them and have custom piping ran:)

flowmaster is indeed crap. most people don't know this but flowmaster is actually one of the crappiest exhausts on the planet. dynomax and borla have em beat hands down.

Flowmaster has more wins than the number of days you've been alive.

HAHA. civics around the world have probably won more races than i've been alive... doesn't make em all good or fast. they sound nice but they still suck BALLS. big hairy ones with crabs and stuff all eatin away at em.

yup, and you can take that check to the bank, cash it, and invest it in the stock FU if ya don't believe.

I have a Flowmaster 40 series on my 240. On a bone stock exhaust, it's very raspy at high RPMs and
depending on how you rev it (yes I know).

Once broken in, it gets very drony and somewhat deep. If you want more deep, consider removing the resonator.

Dont you guys get it? I feel bad for those who go spend 600 dollars on an exhaust system cause you feel that you have to sport a brand name muffler. 600 bucks is reasonable for a header, all new piping, a new muffler a tip, and labor., but just for a catback.??!?! You guys are ripping yourselves off. I just got my 2-chamber flowmaster(replaced the old pacesetter) and took the resonator off. The flowmaster costs 60 bucks and another few bucks for a stainless steel tip and welding. I LOVE how it sounds now. Deep tone. Dont fool yourselves. You're making some fat japanese guy richer by the minute.

Search damnit. Flowmasters have been done on a 240sx.

i used to have a 60 series flowmaster on my old s14, it sounded really nice. with 2.5" custom piping it made a noticable increase in power

i personally dont like the sound of a flowmaster.... sounds to american, my 600$ blitz came with a tone that, to me is unmatched..... very euro, much better than a low toned moan that is monotoned....
