I have searched but all the information seems to be on hatches and newer models.
I have removed the 2 phillips head screws on either side of the spoiler as well as the 2 10mm nuts under the brake lamp assembly. Now what? Push, pull kick, hammer? TIA

there's probably some double sided tape under there like the hatchback, so yes.

Nopers, the spoiler is attached to some sort of brackets that are attached to the trunk lid and it slides forward and back once the screws have been removed.

ok, heres how to remove the stock spoiler on a coupe, remove the 2 screws topside, like you did, remove the 2 nuts on the inside, and jus pull up, there are 2 plastic clips on either side that are holding it down, once you get it off, youll see the 4 screws that attach the metal brackets, and the plastic clips. when your done, youll have 11 nice holes in your trunk lid, and one big one right above where the lock mechanizm is for your trunk, notice how you can pop it open with a screwdriver, hehe, great eh? now take tape, i use electrical tape, and cover up the holes so it doesnt leak when it rains. congradulations, now you cant store anything of great importance in your trunk, also, ppl can crawl into your car if you dont have a rear strut tower bar, lol

wow..it leaves 11 holes from a s13coupe or from a hatch?... my s14 left only 5...basically open the trunk and unscrew from the bottom of the trunk... then wiggle it until u can feel the sticky tape weakening and if u can get a small knife and cut around it

s13 coupe has 11 holes, 4 holes on either side, 2 for screws, 2 for clips, and there are 3 holes in the center, 2 being for bolts, the third center hole is for the 3rd brake light wiring. and its not foam like the fastback, they also used rubber gaskets to seal underneith the wing mounts. so there ussually isnt rust.

Thanks for the advice, glad someone else on here is doing work on a coupe. Now I can't wait to start doing some bad body work on the swiss cheese trunk lid.
