I'm looking into getting a set of 17" Zigen FN01R-C wheels for my S13. It's 4-lug and has Tien HE coilovers with stock brakes. What I want is a non-staggered setup, like 17x8 all around. My question is what's the best offset and tire size for this?? I'm going for a daily driving/drifting setup with no rubbing or fitment issues (No rolling or necessary camber) Also the car is pretty low. I'm just going for a decent, good looking setup with no problems, not the ultra JDM flushness setup.
I searched alot but needed to be specific.

Also do adjustable tie rods cause any rubbing problems with the increased steering angle they allow?

Also where's a good place to get these wheels in matte black? Most sites only carry bronze, silver, and hyperblack in crap sizes.

ok in 4 lug you will only find +35 offset, which is not bad in my eyes, but could also use a 10mm spacer for a better look. also for a flat black you would have to paint them yourself... i dont see how you say they come in crap sizes... pretty much only 17x8 +35 and 17x9 +35

According to 5zigen's website matte black is only available for wheels with 15 and 16 inch diameters, which aren't availalbe in 4x114.3 pattern.

I found forged FNs in black (16in 7wide)but they're only in +42 offset. Can a spacer fix that?

forged are really expensive are they not? also when you add a spacer to it it will work but it will add weight to it, and you would probably want a 25-35mm spacer on a 7in wide... but again its all preference on what you like

In 4x114.3?
I might as well go with Hyper Black if it's gonna be a pain.

nope. 5 lug.

don't get the 16x7 +42's. even though they're forged, those are the ultimate weaksauce. Spacers will fix the offset side of things but nothing can fix the width. yuck.

Yeah I might as well get the hyperblacks in 17x8 +35. I could always powercoat em.
