Yea, I JB welded my 350z diff too. Worked like a charm, drifting though every corner.

You can get ur 350z diff welded at a shop.....that has a welder.....and someone who welds......with a welder....welding.

Look at the package, it specifically states for AUTOMOTIVE use because it is STEEL reinforced. Even in their advertisement it says "Our strongest epoxy." Plus, the high PSI shear strength is a big important feature. Last, the dark grey color is very important because when you pop the diff cover open - it matches with the rest of the decor.

One thing I will say, do not use any gear oil when you re-install the differential. The gear oil could react with the JB weld, so I recommend running it dry.

Its pretty easy welding the 350z diff. What you do is drain the diff oil and replace it with the JB weld posted above. Dont use the plastic JB weld, these guys are just trying to get you to mess up ur car... Run about 500 miles with only that in the diff. BTW, you'll need about 5 bottles of it... After the 500 miles flush the diff with motor oil and fill her back up.

EDIT: Oh yeah, you need to spray lots of break cleaner in the diff after you drain it. If you dont spray the break cleaner the JB weld wont stick as good... No break cleaner = no drifting and slipping diff.

Also, I highly recommend adding at least one bottle of Bars Heavy Duty Sealer to fill whatever areas JB Weld doesnt sink into.

As my colleague listed above, I would also add a highly flimsy scissor jack placed firmly on the side skirts for the added safety....no jack stands needed. It has been scientifically proven that scissor jacks, when placed firmly on side skirts, keep the vehicle from moving under any load.
