What's this plug?!

Can someone tell me what this plug is? I bought a new harness but both male and female sides are damaged so I need to replace the female side. It's got two prongs and it comes from the passenger side fuse box near the battery.

If it's nothing important then I won't even worry about it.

Power steering sensor
You can have it unplug.
When you turn the wheel left and right idle will go up.
Pretty much that sensor send a signal to the ecu to raise the rpm so the engine doesnt shut off or work to hard

That most certainly is not the power steering sensor plug. It runs to the alternator if I recall correctly. It is a thick white wire that leads to the positive battery side.

Is this a SOHC or DOHC? If it's a DOHC the power steering sensor would be on the other side.

It's on a ka24de but it actually only has one prong. I looked at another and it's not bad it's just got this white crap all in it. It's like white grease.

looks kinda like the wire that goes to the positive battery terminal which supplies 12v power.

looks like a sensor from the trans and if its a power steering sensor, tell it the next bus leaves at 12 and it should catch it, because im running a full braided line from my pmp back on my s13 and have not have a problem yet, but people say the idle does this and that, but i can get you a pic of my trans harness i cut oof in the am just pm dude im willing to help you out or call me and ill guide you through the harness..

That is not a sensor for the trans or the power steering. That is the power supply to the fuse box or the alternator. Just follow the wire man, it'll show you the answers. All the white grease is part of the weather proofing that the factory does, I don't know the name, but I think it's called dielectric grease. It does not conduct electricity so it keeps your harness/connections from shorting out on other soaked or oily parts it touches. They pack it in there as well as other exterior electrical connections to keep moisture from getting in there and corroding everything up. It's okay, it's supposed to be there.
