SR20 DET

Im getting a 240SX, and im going to drop a SR20 DET 235 HP engine in it, for 2500 (for the engine) good deal or no?

235HP > S14 motor, thats not a bad deal. As long as everything is complete. I paid about that much for a 180SX front clip and everything was there. So yeah, I guess you gots a good deal. Good luck =)

Yea the engine comes with the transmition/computer/engine itself, also do u guys know some turbos for that engine?

unless you want some REALLIE REALLIE serious HP get a bigger turbo...but if not just get a bigger front mount intercooler and raise the boost, and the basics...I/H/E..and all the rest of the list...and you should have more power then you can control...

Naw, s15 has 250hp

What about turbo, MAF, uncut harness, downpipe, ignitor chip? &nbsp;Does it come with all of that? &nbsp;If it doesn't come with any of that then that's a horrible deal...haha

I would make sure that the engine is coming complete with EVERYTHING needed for the swap or you are going to have a real good time playing the tracking parts down game. &nbsp;I would also check around with people who have dealt with the shop or know about them and make sure they are known for selling complete and reliable SR20's.

Just a few words of advice from somebody that has seen pleny of horror stories of people who didn't know any better getting ripped off thanks to a so called &quot;good deal&quot; &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I have to buy like a Motor Mount Kit and a Wire Harness, but other than that it comes with the rest of the shit,

Also a question for u boostdynamics guy, will the S-15 converstion kit work on a '90 240SX Fastback, sorry if i sound stupid ppl, im jw

I don't know what they mean by you needing a motor mount kit because the motor mounts on the SR engines match up with the motor mounts off of the KA, they are in the same places and use the same mounting points. &nbsp;I guess that isn't too bad of a deal without a wiring harness, but what version engine did you say it was?

the S15 conversion will work on an S13 but you have to get custom fenders made.

Ok to my knowledge there is no 235 hp nissan sr20det engine, so I would check your source on that first...second if your getting it for 2500 and its not a red top (s13) I would make sure they send you compression test and make sure that you are getting a complete harness, maf and ignitor chip if its that price I would assume you are either missing something or you are getting scammed...

Im ordering it from a catolog, companeys dont scam, usualy, mosting its ppl, also Boost were can i get the custom fenders also the engine says 205-235 hp, i just though it was 235, i think i depends what u put it in, also is 235 HP powerful?

What year 240sx you getting?
my motormounts from my 89 240sx were the same as the SR motor that got put it my car, and for the wiring harness it HAS to come with it, for that much cash,
i GOT EVERYTHING just drop in and rewire everything, and its all set,
