got a 95 rhd silvia. cv joints are shot and there is nothing in the aftermarket/jobber world that matches the 6 bolt cv that I have. I would like to swap out to an open diff (so I can weld it) with matching cv shafts. what kind of options do I have?
do I hunt down a early 90s 240sx and throw that diff and cv's in my silvia? the more affordable the better

What do you mean there is nothing in the aftermarket world that fits? There are a few companies that make aftermarket shafts for the S-chassis, DSS and Mazworx being two of them.

I know there are options online. But they are way out if my price range for this build. And I still need to run a locked diff.

you need stock CV axles? do you have the 2x3 axle flanges or the 6 bolt q45/300zx?

So is it not ok to look for cheaper options? I'm not driving a damn Lamborghini. It's a missile.

Didn't know $500 puts you into Lambo baller status.
