my friends grandfather died recently and he was shaken up, they knew it was coming, afterall he was in his late 70's but he was a pastor and with so many people praying for him my friend couldnt understand..

now everyone has to die, and i am by no means a christian but i did tell him to think about his grandfathers life, he accomplished alot of things and made a lot of peopel proud, not just of him but of themsleves and about their lives. he may have made a positve difference in his life and if you mothers boyfriend could have said the same, and also could have said that he lived a good life, then he had nothing to worry about and you have nothing to fear...
